✅ Passed – The participant successfully passed all data quality checks at the level specified in the Sentry Template.
❌ Failed – Sentry flags two categories of low-quality data:
- Behavioral Fails (Engagement & Response Quality)
- Blocked/Tech Blocks (Security & Fraud Prevention)
1. Behavioral Fails
- Inattention – Lack of attention or poor language comprehension.
- Yea-saying – Dishonesty; selecting “yes” for questions where the correct answer cannot be “yes.”
- Lacking Domain Expertise – Failed domain-specific validation (for B2B screening templates).
- Problematic Open End – Provided low-quality or irrelevant responses in open-ended questions.
- Core Evaluation Criteria:
- Relevance: Does the response answer the question asked?
- Completeness: Does the respondent address all parts of the prompt?
- Clarity & Coherence: Is it written in a way that is understandable?
- Detail: Does the respondent provide sufficient explanation or descriptive elements?
- Core Evaluation Criteria:

- reCAPTCHA – Triggered bot detection measures.
- Location Blocked – Access restricted due to geo-location rules.
- Restricted Device Type – User attempted to access the survey on a disallowed device type (e.g., desktop-only requirement).
- Fraud – Bad Activity – Detected high-risk behavior patterns, including:
- Excessive tabbing away from the Sentry environment.
